Hiya Tammie,
I am so glad you stopped by planDisney. Oh boy! It won't be long now until you are on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Not only will you be able to enjoy all the festivities surrounding the 50th anniversary, but you are there in time to enjoy the last of the fall fun before they begin decking the halls. And if that was not enough, you will be able to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. You and your taste buds will have the opportunity to enjoy culinary masterpieces from six continents as you nibble and sip your way around World Showcase Lagoon. Come hungry!
Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort is a spooktacular time of the yEAR and I can understand wanting to dress like your favorite pirate or princess.
Disney World Property Rules limits Guests over the age of 14 from wearing costumes in the theme parks. There are a couple of exceptions to these policies, one of which is Guests attending
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you happen to be attending this special evening event at Magic Kingdom, you are invited to wear your favorite Halloween costume, with a
few guidelines. The costume must be family friendly and cannot contain any objectional or violent material or graphics. The costume cannot touch or drag on the ground, cannot include masks or weapons, and capes longer than your waist are not permitted.
If you were not planning on attending the Halloween party, there are plenty of options for you to show your Halloween spirit and dress within property guidelines. I am always amazed at all the creative designs I see on t-shirts, sweatshirts, leggings and more when I am walking through the theme parks. If you are like me and would never attempt to design your own Disney clothing, a quick search of the internet will bring up all sorts of Halloween themed clothing that will stay within the clothing guidelines. One of my favorites is the adorable Disney themed casual dresses and skirts with an adorable Halloween t-shirt. Very comfortable and stylish. And of course, no outfit is complete without a pair of seasonal EARs!
I hope this helps you have a bootiful time! If I can help with any additional planning questions, please stop back and
see me.
T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
Margaret
