    Hi ? is can adults wear boardshorts @ MK? My 12 yr old son wants to ride splash mountain & my concern is being in wet clothes that won't dry quickly. We will be there May 29-June 5. We are all super excited

    Hi, Lisa!  I see lots of people wearing boardshorts at the Magic Kingdom, and I recommend them all the time to my friends.  They are great for the attractions like Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids at Disney's Animal Kingdom, where you might get soaked.  They dry quickly, which is great, especially when it's hot.  It helps avoid chafing and being uncomfortable in wet clothes for an extended period of time.

    If you think he'd be uncomfortable in the bright shorts or loud prints, you can find solid color boardshorts in a lot of locations now.  Quiksilver makes them in solid colors like black, white, ash, grey and navy blue, which most people wouldn't be able to distinguish from regular cargo shorts.
