Hey there, France! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm thrilled to hear that you're making plans to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! To be honest with you, sometimes I think I love
planning for my magical vacations almost as much as I like
being on my magical vacations. I'd love to help you with the next steps in the planning process, Frances!
I hear that you're looking to travel with a few other adults in two rooms for a full week, and that sounds like the recipe for a really fun trip! I have a trip coming up this May with some of my best friends and I'm so excited about it. There are many factors that can play into the price of a vacation, including your specific dates, your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and which theme park tickets you purchase.
In order to price out a vacation, I'd recommend heading to the
Walt Disney World Resort website and selecting dates sometime in the future. If you have an idea of when you'd like to travel, great! If not, I'd suggest trying to find a similar season or timeframe so you can get a ballpark estimate for your trip. Once you select your dates, you can see which Disney Resorts Collection hotels are available. If budget is of primary concern, you can even sort by price. Pro tip: sometimes, just changing your dates by a day or two can open up a whole new world of possibilities!
When you're ready to book your vacation, you'll continue to follow the prompts to select the number of days you'd like to purchase a theme park ticket for, then your ticket type. For example, you might select a base ticket (one park per day) or upgrade to include the
Park Hopper Option! After you purchase your vacation package, you'll want to make sure that you've made your
theme park reservations as well.
You'll continue to check out, where you'll be asked to place a deposit. The great news is that this deposit will hold your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package and you have up to 30 days prior to your trip to pay off the balance! If you need to cancel this vacation package, you can do so up until your final balance is due for a full refund on your deposit.
After you reserve your first room, the other Guests in your travel party can then reserve the second room. On the checkout page, they'll be able to click "Change" under Amenity Requests and request either a room with a connecting door to yours or a room that's nearby (if preferred). Of course, you can always
call a Cast Member for assistance in making your reservations!
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction, Frances! If you have any other questions, please write back to us again.
You've got a friend in me!
