We are 2 adults travelling to Disney from March 23rd to April 2nd '09. It is our first time. We havent made any resrervations and were thinking of not making them and just see how it goes when we get there, we dont want anything fancy. Is this a bad idea?

    Julie,

Unfortunately yes, I would say that is not a great idea. That is a busy time at Walt Disney World, and you want to make sure you have at least a few dinner (and possibly lunch) reservations before you come. Maybe you don't plan out each meal, but certainly I would suggest you plan a few, so that you don't get disappointed  by ending up with nothing but counter service meals on your trip.

Especially plan some of the meals at the end of your vacation, when the crowds will be at their largest.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I want you to have a great time, and not getting a few good meals in can be a recipe for that in my opinion. (get it, recipe?).

From a good Irish-American boy with County Cork ancestors to you, I hope you have a Magical Vacation!
