We are 4 adults traveling with one toddler in December, staying in the Cars suite at AOA. Is there a way to request a roll away bed/fold up bed for the toddler so that the 2 adult brother/sister do not have to sleep with her? She is quite restless.

    Hiya Monica,

Welcome to planDisney! “Ka-Chow”; it sounds like you will have a blast on your upcoming family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! The family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are perfect for your family of 5, and feeling like you are staying in Radiator Springs will be so fun for your little race car.

Unfortunately, Monica rollaway beds are no longer offered at the Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotels, so the siblings may have to bunk together. Depending on how old your toddler is, you may want to request a complimentary Pack ‘n’ Play for your room. This would allow your little one to have the needed space and give your older children their sleeping area. My toddler still sleeps in a playard when we travel, and she sleeps peacefully in the little sleeping space with some sheets from home.

I’m sorry I didn’t have better news to share, Monica. Despite having to share a bed with their sister, I hope the trip will be magical for the entire family. Speaking of memories, I highly suggest getting Memory Maker if you haven’t already; that way, you can download all the photos from your vacation. Your toddler may not remember the trip, but the images will help her to relive it when she’s older. Please come back and see us if you need anything else. We have lots of tips for traveling during the holiday season!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
