At the Art of Animation Resort it says we will either get a room with one or two beds. Obviously one bed to a family of four isn't going to be doable, is there a way we can guarantee the room with two beds? If not, we will need to book another resort.

Hi there, Ryan!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you and your family will soon be calling Disney's Art of Animation Resort your home away from home!  The larger-than-life theming at this resort hotel makes you feel as if you've stepped right into some of your favorite animated movies.  Did you know that The Big Blue Pool which is inspired by Finding Nemo is the largest resort hotel swimming pool at Walt Disney World Resort?  If you work up an appetite in the pool, you can head over to Landscape of Flavors for a bite to eat, and when it's time to head to the theme parks, the convenient Disney Skyliner and bus transportation will quickly get you to your destination.

If you take a look at the room rates for Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you'll see that this resort hotel offers a few different types of accommodations.  The number of beds you'll have in your resort hotel room depends on which room category you book.  If you reserved one of the family suites, your accommodations will have one queen bed, one double-size sleeper sofa, and one double-size table bed.  The standard rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort have either one king bed or two queen beds.

When you book a standard room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, the type of beds your room will have depends on the number of Guests in your party.  Groups with one or two Guests may be assigned to either a room with one king bed or a room with two queen beds.  Parties of three or four will automatically be given a room that has two queen beds.  If you've booked a standard room, as long as you've listed all four of your family members on your resort hotel reservation, you should be given a room with two queen beds.  This should be taken care of without you needing to make any type of special request.  However, if you do wish to make any kind of room request, you can always feel free to call the Help Center phone number for Disney Resort Hotel reservations.

Ryan, if you have any other questions as you're getting ready for your trip, please visit planDisney again.  Just keep swimming!
