Hello! 2 adults staying at POP and have ADR's at Kona Cafe, Via Napoli, and Sci-Fi for dinner, Saana for lunch, and Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Is the Dining Plan worth it for us? We are not big eaters and we are on a budget. Thank you!

Hi, Charlene!  Whether or not the Disney Dining Plan is going to work for your family is kind of a personal thing.  What I like to do is go to websites like allears.net, where you'll find a list of all the restaurants and their menus with pretty current prices.  Keep in mind that menus and prices are subject to change, but you can get a pretty good idea at what a meal might cost.  You can, for example, look at the menu for Saana (one of my favorite restaurants!) and total up the cost of the meal you might order when you eat there.  Add to that another $15 for breakfast and lunch that day, and maybe a snack, and see if the dining plan is worth it for you.

I tend to think that if you like to do the table service restaurants, the dining plan might be a good option for you.  It also helps you stick to a meal budget.  But your best bet is to really see if it's a value for you by adding up the approximate cost of a meal that you already have planned.  As light eaters, if you tend to share meals, you might find it's not worth the investment; but it really works out well for many families.

I hope you enjoy your stay at Pop Century!
