Welcome Colleen to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Oh do I have some exciting news for you...YES! There are both adults only pools AND restaurants on the Disney Dream. The last cruise my husband and I went on was aboard the Disney Dream and without our kids (gasp!). It was an incredible, relaxing vacation with the same Disney service we love on Disney Cruise Line, but an entirely different experience for us.
We started off our cruise lounging around Satellite Falls. This adult-only area is a wading pool with waterfall feature and a great sun deck. We like to grab a drink and relax while the ship sets sail out of port as this is a great way to view the beautiful ocean and shoreline.
A short walk down the same deck will bring you to the second adults-only Quiet Cove Pool. This area is truly peaceful with a pool, whirlpools and bar. Make sure when step into the whirlpools you take a look down and enjoy the surprising view! Several times each day there is also live music so this is truly a slice of heaven while onboard.
Adult-exclusive dining on the Disney Dream will also have you walking in the clouds. Palo serves Italian cuisine and is my favorite place to eat on vacation. The antipasto is ah-mazing and I always make room for the chocolate soufflé! Remy is French-inspired dining and is something like I have never experienced before. The dinner truly tells a story and the service team is incredible. Both Palo and Remy require reservations, have a dress code and are at an additional cost beyond your cruise fare.
Don't forget to visit the adults-only
nightclubs and lounges. Skyline is our favorite as the view is always changing!
