Hi there, Michelle!
In my experience, the
Walt Disney World restaurants are some of the most accommodating. They are always prepared for guests with
special dietary concerns, and they will try to adapt meals on the menu to suit even the most particular palette.
In almost every situation, adults are able to order from the children's menu. At restaurants like
Cinderella's Royal Table, which is a fixed price meal, adults still pay the adult price for the meal, but if you would prefer the children's menu items, they are happy to bring you kids meal choices. In most cases, they'll bring a larger portion for someone who is an adult ordering from the kids menu.
You'll have a similar experience at other fixed price restaurants, such as
Be Our Guest, but at virtually any a la carte restaurant, you will be able to order whatever you prefer from either the children's or the adult menu. Again, if there's a particular reason you'd rather not have the items on the adult menu - either for allergy or other dietary concerns, you can email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com at least 14 days prior to your trip to discuss other options that may be available to you.
Happy dining, Michelle!
Anna
