Do adults need an ID to get into the parks?

    Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth!

Oh boy!  Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is only a few days away!  I'm sure you must be so excited to take part in The World's Most Magical Celebration.  Be sure to make time to explore the beautiful gardens and topiaries at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival while tasting the delicious bites and sips at the outdoor festival kitchens.

Generally speaking, adults are not usually required to show an ID to enter the theme parks.  Guests age 18 and up will need to present a photo ID for proof of Florida residency when activating Florida Resident tickets, or a military ID to activate military tickets.  However, I would recommend carrying your ID with you at all times.  I have been asked to show my photo ID along with my Annual Passholder card at parking toll booths or when making purchases with my Annual Passholder discount, when purchasing alcoholic beverages, and at Guest Relations when I have had to resolve a ticket issue or another issue with my account.  An ID is usually required at security booths when driving to Disney Resort Hotels as well.  It is probably a good idea to carry your ID with you just in case.

Elizabeth, if you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit planDisney again.  Enjoy your visit!
