Ahoy Arlene!
My husband and I love to enjoy time dining alone on our cruise vacations! With the wonderful service you receive from the dining staff, it is nice to sit back and relax while you are being waited on by these amazing servers.
I have two ideas for your "grown-up" crew to experience a lunch while the kiddos are having their own fun in the clubs! My first suggestion is to try to get a Palo or Remy reservation once you board the ship on embarkation day. Disney Cruise Line does not pre-book all the spots available so there is still a chance to reserve your adult-only meal in one of these fabulous locations. Check your Personal Navigator, your daily activity guide, for directions on how to reserve these spots. If you don't secure a reservation onboard, my second suggestion is to dine in
Royal Palace or
Enchanted Garden. Many Guests choose to eat at Cabanas Food Court or grab a bite at the counter service options on the pool deck so the crowd is usually low in the dining rooms. Check your Personal Navigator to see if both are open because it may be one or the other. When you dine at one of these locations, you will order off a menu and be taken care of by the dining servers. The hours are usually 12:00-1:30, and I think your party will find this a great alternative to Palo and Remy.
As you count down the days until you board Dream, please let me know if you have any more questions!
Have a magical day and wonderful vacation!
