    2 adults & 3 kids 9,6&2 coming to WDW for 1st time. We are staying at Contempory 9 yr old son insisted monorail runs through & it's the coolest thing ever - construction is going on will our vacation be awful? Can you tell me about the arcade?

    Hi Amy,

    I agree with your 9 year old that a monorail through a hotel is cool.  Remember to ask to sit up front and get a Captain's license for him.

    As for the construction, Disney usually is pretty good at not trying to inconvenience guests with construction.  They generally work from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and the area is secured.  Most guests are not in their hotel rooms at this time so it should not be a problem.

    I have stayed at the Boardwalk during construction and there was little difference in my experience during construction or after.
