Hi there, Lisa! Thank you for cruising by planDisney with this great question. Your family arrives soon for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's look at ways you can get around with ease while you're here. Buckle up!
Minnie Van™ Connected by Lyft is a convenient ride service that many guests enjoy while on Disney property. These SUVs and vans are easily recognizable by their festive red-and-white polka dots! My favorite place to use this transportation is
Magic Kingdom Park because it drops guests close to the entrance. Smart choice, Lisa!
Standard Minnie Vans hold up to six passengers and come with two child car seats, which the driver will set up for you. So it looks like everyone in your party will have a place to sit. Now let's see where your stroller will go.
I chatted with a ka-CHOW Cast Member named Jamison who said that while some strollers will fit in the back, he advised booking two Minnie Vans to be certain. He also suggested using complimentary
resort transportation instead, which includes buses, the monorail, and the Disney Skyliner. All of these will accommodate strollers and will drop you near the theme park entrances.
One of my panelist pals said her double stroller recently fit in the back of a Minnie Van after a bit of disassembly, so it sounds like it might be easier to rent two or use resort transportation.
Another option is to
rent a double stroller at the theme park entrance. My tip is to book it for your length of stay for a discounted rate. I love using rentals for park hopping because you'll show your receipt at any park entrance to pick up your stroller. Your kids will be easy riders!
Lisa, I hope you make many magical memories on your trip. Please
stop by planDisney anytime; we'll always steer you right!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
