Can adults have a child’s meal on the dining plan

    Dear Marie,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your terrific question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

The great news is that yes, if you're not as hungry and you would prefer to choose a child's meal instead of your adult meal, you're welcome to. Additionally, if you just don't see anything to your taste on the adult menu, you can request an adult size of a child's menu selection at many Table-Service locations. Of course, for either of these options, you would still be using an adult meal credit from your Disney Dining Plan.

At a Quick-Service location, if you are traveling with children and have children's meal credits, you could utilize one of those for your children's meal instead. If you are not traveling with children and wish to choose a child's meal at a Quick-Service location, you would have to use one of your own meal credits.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
