Hi! I have 17 adults and 11 children (ranging from ages 1-14) in my travel group. What is the best way for us to book our resort rooms and buy our park tickets so that we get the most out of our trip and everyone is able to enjoy themselves?

    Hi Yasmeen,

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for bringing me your great question! The only thing better than visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth is when you can share the experience with loved ones. Hearing that you'll be enjoying the magic and fun with so many fellow Mouseketeers sounds like a ton of FUN!

If you think you and your crew will be needing at least ten Disney Resort hotel rooms for at least one night, I'd encourage you to chat with the Cast Members at Disney Group Getaways. They're not only experts at helping large groups navigate a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, but they'll also be able to offer you group discounts. If you don't think you'll need quite that many rooms for your group, Hakuna Matata...no worries! I have some suggestions for you, too! First, I'd recommend checking out the current Special Offers. There are at least two offers available now that could help your group stretch your Disney dollars! Next, I'm happy to let you know that Disney does offer some larger Resort hotel options that accommodate up to 12 Guests! Whether you'd like to split up amongst a few Family Suites, Cabins, or 2 or 3-bedroom Deluxe Villas, you'll find amenities like kitchens or kitchenettes, living rooms, and even possibly a washer and dryer to help you feel at home away from home. Finally, you'll want to be sure that you're all linked together through the Family & Friends list within My Disney Experience. This will allow you to make plans and reservations together as well as share photos and videos collected during your trip so that the memories you make can be enjoyed and cherished forever!

When you actually go to book your Disney Resort hotel rooms and purchase your tickets, you'll find that you may only book one room at a time online. You could either have each individual family book their own vacation package at the same Resort hotel (especially if they want to make payments along the way) or you could call a friendly Cast Member who could assist you with booking multiple rooms at once.

I'm sending pixie dust that all your plans come together perfectly, Yasmeen, and please know you're always welcome here at planDisney if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope you and your fellow Mouseketeers have a truly magical vacation this summer!
