Welcome aboard, Beatrice! Wow! You really have one magical vacation planned! Enjoying both the parks at Walt Disney World and a Disney Cruise Line voyage is my family's favorite way to "do" Disney too!
Disney Cruise Line is happy to help you navigate the transitions from land to sea and back again. The easiest way to do this is to book
ground transfers through Disney Cruise Line. Give them a call at 800-951-3532. Have your cruise and resort reservation numbers ready. The agent there can easily set up these transfers for you in only one quick phone call. I love letting Disney take care of our transportation details for us, so we can simply show up and have fun!
The night before you set sail, you'll receive a paper in your resort room at All Star Movies that will list your motor coach pick up time and meeting location. It will also let you know that your checked-in luggage will be picked up earlier. Usually ours has been picked up right from our resort room around 8:00 a.m. that day. We keep our day bags with us to enjoy breakfast and more exploring at our resort before the motor coach arrives. Your pick up time may be anywhere from 11:00 - 1:00 that day. Then, relax and enjoy your hour-long ride to the port!
After your cruise, disembark the ship, collect your luggage in the luggage pick up area, and board one of the motor coaches back to your resort. They leave on a continuous basis throughout the morning, and will have your name on the list. The Cast Members at the port will guide you to the motorcoach heading to Art of Animation Resort. You'll be happy after your amazing cruise to have even more Disney fun in store back at the parks! My family adores the
Art of Animation Resort and all the fun theming there!
Have a great trip, Beatrice!
