We have 2 adults & 3 children (age 6yrs, 10 yrs & 12yrs). Our 12 yr old is an adult under the dining plan. However our 10 yr old is too old to order off the kids menu in some places. How does that work?

Hi, Sam!  With the Walt Disney World dining plan, anyone over the age of nine is considered an adult, an they can order from the adult menu.  The children's menu is available to kids from ages 3 - 9.  Your 10 year old, in this case, will be able to order from the adult menu at any of the restaurants you go to.

Your 12 year old will also be considered an adult for dining plan purposes.  Only your six year old will be ordering from the children's menu.

If you have a picky eater, you can always ask someone from the culinary team to talk to you about options for your older children.

I hope your vacation is absolutely magical!
