2 adults 1 child will be at WDW we are planning on saving and staying in a basic room at Animation Resort. We dont plan on being in the room most of the time so will this be ok or would a suite be much better? Is there a place to check out character dining$

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel, Paulette! I I definitely think you are wise to consider how much time you will be in your guest room when choosing your resort and room type. I am actually staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort right now in The Little Mermaid standard rooms. The Little Mermaid standard rooms are whimsical and offer an immersive storybook experience! I would highly recommend The Little Mermaid standard rooms for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. I absolutely love the attention to detail found throughout the room, the privacy curtain separating the vanity area and the sleeping area, and the compact refrigerator. I have also toured the Finding Nemo Family Suites and honestly don't feel it would be necessary for a family of three to upgrade to the Family Suites. Follow the link provided here to view the Character Dining Experiences that are available at Walt Disney World. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this information helps! Please feel free to write me back if you have any other questions regarding Disney's Art of Animation Resort or if you would like dining recommendations. Best wishes for a magical trip, Paulette!
    Happy Planning,
