Are adults allowed to wear full face paint at Oogie Boogie Bash?

Hi there, Kristian! Welcome back to planDisney. I love that we’re already getting started on what we’ll be dressing up as for Oogie Boogie Bash! It’s my favorite event at the parks. I’m always amazed by how creative everyone gets with their costumes.

Face paint is a great way to amp up your costume! Some of my friends attended Oogie Boogie Bash last year dressed as Sally and Jack Skellington. Their son was a mini Jack Skellington! They painted their faces to resemble their spooky characters, and their costumes turned out fantastic. As I scanned through the Costume Guidelines for Oogie Boogie Bash, I didn't see anything in the Park Rules and Regulations stating that full face paint is prohibited for adults attending the event. The guidelines note that costumes are subject to Disney standards and should not be obstructive or offensive. While creativity is encouraged, safety and good judgment are also important. These costume guidelines apply throughout the duration of the event. Ultimately, admission is subject to Cast Member discretion.

With Oogie Boogie Bash tickets set to go on sale soon, do you have a date in mind for when you'd like to attend? As you're waiting in the queue, I'd recommend having a couple of dates in mind before it's your turn to check out, as some event nights can sell out while you're waiting.

Kristian, thank you so much for visiting planDisney. I hope you have a spooktacular time at Oogie Boogie Bash! Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all things Halloween. If you have any more questions before then, planDisney is always here for you!
