Welcome to planDisney, Theresa! Your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is just a few days away, and it sounds like you've got an appetite for feasting and fun, so let's dig into your question about dining at one of my favorite Magic Kingdom restaurants, Tony's Town Square!
Theresa, because
Tony's Town Square Restaurant offers an a la carte menu, guests are welcome to order whichever menu items they would like, and are usually able to share meals without any problems! On my most recent dining experience here, my daughter and I shared a Caesar salad and the chicken parmigiana entree with no issue. I'd recommend letting your server know you will be sharing so they can accommodate you with extra plates as needed! I'd also recommend ordering Tony's garlic bread for the table to share as an appetizer - it's so good!
If your reservation for dining happens to fall during the later afternoon, request a table on the patio for a fantastic view of
Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade! We did this on our last visit and had an amazing meal while watching the parade pass by!
I hope this helps, Theresa! After your meal, you can stop by to
visit with Mickey Mouse at the Town Square Theatre or hop aboard the
Walt Disney World Railroad to let your meal settle while you ride the rails to your next destination, whether it's Frontierland or Fantasyland! If you have any other planning questions as you count down the final days until your arrival, come on back to
planDisney and let us know!
See you real soon,
Alison
