Would an adult and two children (ages 7, 8) fit in one seat of the seven dwarfs mine train?

    Hi Sarita,

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off for FUN you'll go! The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom Park is one of my very favorite attractions, and I'm so excited for your upcoming vacation so that you can experience this wonderful attraction yourself!

While attractions with no height restriction generally utilize a bench style seat, allowing for lots of flexibility for family seating, many rides with height restrictions utilize individual seats for safety purposes. You'll find that the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train has two seats side by side, each of them with their own lap bar. Since two people can't safely sit in one seat, I'd encourage you to have your two children sit together and you sit right in front of them or right behind them. Or, you know your children best! While children under seven years of age need to have someone aged 14 or older sitting with them, your children are both old enough that they could sit alone, so if one of your kiddos really needs you with them, the other one could be the one to sit right in front of or behind you. Feel free to do whatever works best for your family needs!

This attraction is one that offers photos and videos during the ride, and I definitely recommend purchasing Memory Maker so you'll have access to share and download the fun memories you make on this attraction and throughout your entire vacation! And just a hint...be on the lookout for a fun hidden Mickey created from the jewels in the Seven Dwarfs' mine!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarita, and have a truly magical vacation!
