I have 4 adult MYW/PH/WF&M/NoExp tix, but our plans changed and now I need 5-day MYW tickets for 5 adults and 3 children. Will WDW's upgrade process take the cumulative value of the 4 I have and let me pay the difference or is it ticket-for-ticket?

    HI Kelly!
Disney does allow guests to change their ticket to Water Park Fun and More, upgrade to Annual Passes or add on days for a longer stay.  The ticket upgrade process is done ticket by ticket and one per person.  You cannot take two unused tickets and use them to purchase one AP.  They will not take the cumulative value and use that to pay for different tickets.
If you have these tickets as part of a vacation package and you are still 45 days before your trip, you can call Disney reservations and change them.  If you are less that 45 days out, you can call and change your tickets, and you will be charged a fee.
If you have physical tickets in hand, you will not be able to downgrade or change the tickets.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
