Hi Johanna!
Welcome to planDisney. Getting ready for a visit to the Disneyland Resort is always exciting, but sprinkle in the sparkle of the Holiday Season, and it becomes something truly unforgettable. But more on that festive magic in just a moment!
I checked the
“Buy Your Tickets” page on the
Disneyland website, and currently, a one-day, one-park ticket for November 24th is priced at $196 per adult. That said, prices can fluctuate depending on several factors, including whether you decide to add
Park Hopper access or purchase the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass ahead of time. When you're ready to lock in those plans, I recommend checking the Disneyland site again for the most up-to-date pricing.
Now, let’s talk about the holly-jolly goodness that awaits you in November! Each evening, Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle shimmers with thousands of lights as it transforms into a glowing centerpiece for the season. And over in Fantasyland, the whimsical exterior of “it’s a small world” Holiday lights up the night with colorful cheer. The inside is just as delightful. The children of the world share their holiday greetings in a dazzling blend of lights, music, and global traditions.
One of the most beloved overlays is in New Orleans Square, where Haunted Mansion Holiday takes over thanks to Jack Skellington’s spirited reimagining of Christmas. It’s a seasonal must-do that blends spooky and merry in the most delightful way.
Across the Esplanade, Disney California Adventure Park really shines during the Festival of the Holidays, a celebration of cultural traditions from around the globe. Buena Vista Street evokes nostalgic charm with its vintage-style decorations, while over in Cars Land, the “haul-idays” bring playful touches to everything from the garlands on Route 66 to the seasonal ride soundtracks. And if your taste buds are looking for joy, the Festive Foods Marketplace offers a delicious mix of flavors inspired by Hanukkah, Navidad, Diwali, and more.
There’s still more! Keep an eye out for Mickey and pals in their holiday best, or catch a visit with Santa himself in both parks. And here's a Q-Tip for your first visit: spend one evening on Main Street, U.S.A. It’s the perfect place to enjoy A Christmas Fantasy Parade, watch the nightly snowfall, and cap it off with the “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks. It’s where the season feels most alive.
I’m so excited that your very first Disneyland visit will be during the holidays, Johanna. Be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for updates as November approaches. And of course, if you need anything else, planDisney is always here to help!
Happy (early) Holidays!
David
