Welcome back, Katie!
A Disney Cruise Line adventure is a wonderful vacation for the whole family because there are plenty of activities all day and night for the family to enjoy together. But, everyone has their own activities and events too! The kids have so many magical spaces to explore with fabulous counselors in the
Youth Clubs who lead them through the most wonderful and exciting activities! My kids adore Super Sloppy Science, where they learn all about polymers and make their own Flubber! They play to their hearts' content in Andy's Room, where they feel toy sized with their favorite Toy Story friends, then march off with the little green army men for Toy Story Boot Camp! Pluto meets them the clubs later on for Pluto's Pajama Party. And those are only two of the many activities available!
Meanwhile, there are
adult activities in the various adult exclusive spaces onboard the ship. For those adults traveling alone, Disney Cruise Line has the
Cruisin' Solo events. The first night onboard, you'll see a
Cruisin' Solo meet and greet listed in your Personal Navigator, the list of the ship's activities. The solo cruisers meet up here and plan other events for the rest of the sailing, guided by the fun Cruise Staff Team onboard. There is at least one other
Cruisin' Solo event listed each day, but at that first get together, many of the guests add additional meet up times that aren't pre-listed in the Navigator, so you won't want to miss that first night.
You'll certainly have some fun events to attend and new friends to meet when you sail with your kiddos on the Disney Dream, Katie! Let us know if we can give you any other hints and tips or answer any other questions before you head out to sea!
