Welcome aboard, Rebecca! Dining aboard Disney Cruise Line's pixie-dusted ships is so amazing! Besides all of the
activities that take place day and night on the ships, dining is one of our favorite things about sailing with Captain Mickey and his crew!
The menus are fabulous at all of the
restaurants in the dining rotations. Guests of any age are welcome to order off of any part of the menu. If an adult sees something on the children's menu that he prefers, he is welcome to enjoy that for dinner. Similarly, if a child is eyeing something on the regular menu, he can certainly enjoy that entree! My kids are really adventurous eaters, so they rarely order off of the kids menu when we sail. I love for them to have the opportunity to try new foods that they may not otherwise try back home. I remember when my son was four and happily decided to order escargot. He loved it! Who would have guessed? Another perk to dining on Disney's ships is that you're also welcome to order two entrees if you just can't decide between the two of them. My husband has been known to do this sometimes!
You will love your
dining rotation and the fact that the dining service team that you meet on night one will rotate with you through the other restaurants each night, getting to know you and your preferences and you'll have fun getting to know them. They're great with the kids too! My kids always become fast friends with our dining servers, sharing jokes and magic tricks with them each night. Such fun!
Have a great time planning your cruise, Rebecca, and please stop back with other questions as you prepare to set sail on the high seas with Disney!
