Heigh-Ho Michael,
Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. I’m sorry to hEAR someone, in your travel party, has broken their leg and wish him a speedy recovery. But rest assured,
Walt Disney World will still be a memorable visit for everyone. Bus transportation, most watercraft, the skyliner and monorail are easily accessible for wheelchairs. When it comes to Walt Disney World theme park attractions or shows, please, see the Cast Member at the beginning of the queue. One of two things can occur; the Cast Member will either instruct the Guest and the entire party to go through the standard queue or the Cast Member will give a return time, for the entire party, which equates to the wait time for the standard queue. No two attractions are the same and Cast Members will accommodate Guests as best they can.
When planning which attraction/show to visit next use the
My Disney Experience app. I, highly, suggest everyone in your party downloads it onto their mobile device and gets to know its amazing features. From checking current wait times and showtimes at the Walt Disney World theme parks, to
mobile food ordering and checking in for Walt Disney World Resort room and dining reservations, you can also unlock your Walt Disney Resort room and check out your
Disney PhotoPass gallery and this is to list but a few can do things. This app is a must-have.
I hope this helps and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
Amy M.
