We would like to have an adult dinner during our cruise. How late is the children's area open? And can they stay there while we eat?

Welcome aboard, Shawn! I'm really happy to hear that you're looking into all the extras that Disney Cruise Line offers its guests onboard each and every sailing! You didn't mention the ages of your children, but all of the Youth Clubs are open late each night, until midnight or 1:00 a.m., depending on the club. With activities scheduled in the clubs during all hours, and relaxing movies and soft sleeping mats pulled out in the later hours, your kids can go until they crash in the fun spaces just for them!

If you're enjoying the second dinner seating, you may be happy to know that 45 minutes into that seating, after the kids have eaten, counselors from the clubs come to each of the three main restaurants to pick up any kids who'd like to go enjoy the clubs while their parents finish their meals alone. We take advantage of this offer at the second dinner seating quite often! It's a win-win for every one in our family!

If you'd like to enjoy an entire meal alone, either at your regular rotational restaurant, or at one of the fabulous Adult Exclusive restaurants onboard, Palo or Remy, your kids can even eat in the clubs! The Oceaneer Club and Lab serve dinner to the kids from about 5:30 - 6:15 each night. Be sure to check your Personal Navigator or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for specific times on your particular sailing. I highly recommend both Palo and Remy. They carry an additional charge, but the food is truly amazing and the atmosphere unbeatable!

    Happy sailing!
