Hi, DS is 10 so will have adult DDP meal credits. As he's quite small for his age concernd CM's might query this. He's a bit sensitive about it + I don't want him upset. Do I just give them KTTW card that shows he has adult credit?

    Hi Kay,

We would not want to upset your son either, especially at the Happiest Place on Earth.

You can certainly give him his own Key to the World card key as the resort will issue one with each party's name on it. I actually refrain from giving my younger boys their cards, as they would lose their heads if not attached, but that is just my kids. All of the key cards in your party will indicate the number of adult dining plans that were purchased if there is any question. I have to tell you though, I have never had a Cast Member question the age of my children at any time during my Disney World travels. My boys are actually very tall for  their ages, and i was concerned that they would want to know why they were still dining on a child's plan, so I use to carry a copy of their birth certificate with me. I never once had to pull it out or address their ages or the plan they were on. I'm guessing Disney Cast Members are well trained on the idea that guests come in all shapes and sizes and handle the situations the same. I would simply indicate to the host or hostess that you need an adult menu for your young man, and when your waiter or waitress approaches the table simply indicate the number of adults that will be dining on the dinner plan. He or she will most likely ask to see your key card at that time to verify which dining package you are on, and the card will indicate your son's adult package option.

    Have a great time!
