I have to make ADRs in 10 days. How do I make these reservations without knowing the park hours, parade times, shows etc.? Disney requires me to make ADRs SIX (6) months in advance. This information is needed in order for me to make informed decisions.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Callista! How wonderful to know that you have a Summer trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in the works! Thanks for visiting us with your question.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I too scout the Interactive Parks Calendar when my vacation is six-months out. Don’t worry! You can start viewing park calendars exactly six-months to the day, so you’re still about a week away from being able to view that information. When you are close to that window, choose the 5-day or the daily view. It will list times for firework shows, parades and those all-important Extra Magic Hours.

You can start making those dining reservations, bright and early, at 6:00 a.m., when you’re exactly six-months away from your first magical vacation day.

There are lots of great new dining adventures in store for you and your crew. A new favorite is Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. You will get to visit with Snow White, her seven dwarfs and maybe the evil queen, if she’s not too busy admiring herself in the mirror, of course!

Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom Park has also rolled out a brand new three-course dinner that is fit for royalty. My family’s favorite lunch spot is Via Napoli Ristorante at Epcot’s World Showcase. Their pizza and arancini are nothing short of delicioso!

Callista, if you have any other questions, feel free to come back to see us. We’re happy to help you with all the details of your next magical vacation!
