    Have ADR Spirit of Aloha Aug 7. Looking at the upcoming weather there are lots of chances for rain (common in Aug Florida I know). Will the dinner show be canceled if there is rain? Do they wait until show time to cancel or do so earlier in the day?

    Hi Debra,

    While most of the guests are covered for the show, the castmembers are not. For safety reasons, the show can be cancelled due to rain. Since there is another show after, it is hard to delay the start of the show for weather.

    Disney has very accurate weather tracking systems. They will always try to give guests as much notice as possible when canceling any outdoor performance. Your best bet is to talk to the castmembers at your resort on the day of the show to see what the forecast is calling for.

    My family enjoyed the show during our August vacation one year, and there was rain earlier in the day.
