We have ADR for Rose & Crown in Epcot at 6:50pm. We have 2 VERY picky eaters ages 8 &7. My 1st question: Is this reservation too early to be able to see illuminations from our table? My 2nd question: Does Rose & Crown have a kids menu?

Hi Karen! Great choice -- the Rose & Crown is one of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World! I consider 7:30 the ideal reservation time to see Illuminations at 9 p.m. from the restaurant, but if you don't mind lingering over dinner, your 6:50 time should work, especially if you mention when you check in that you would like a table on the patio to view the fireworks and you're willing to wait until one becomes available.  If you stretch out your meal with appetizers and desserts, you should be finishing up just as Illuminations starts.

Now, as for the picky eaters, I have one of those too. The Rose & Crown does have a children's menu with pizza and macaroni & cheese for those children not adventurous enough to eat the Bangers & Mash. My picky son was able to order a grilled cheese sandwich even though it's not on the Rose & Crown kids' menu, although he was horrified when they served it with peas on the side. (Be sure to tell your server "no peas" if your kids have an aversion to green foods like mine!)

Hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
