Have a ADR at rainforest cafe after a morning at AK at 1245, staying at Poly and have an Ohana ADR at 830. I would love to send my mom to a spa in between while the kids and I enjoy the pool. Is this possible time wise? Which spa would you recommend?

    Hi Bria!
Visiting a spa while staying on Disney property is one of THE best ways to relax after (or BEFORE) a day at the parks. Offering many options, such as massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and body therapies, the spas at Walt Disney World are truly worth a visit, or two. You definitely have time for your mom to enjoy a massage or a facial, while you and the kids relax poolside at the Polynesian.
The closest spa to the Poly is the Grand Floridian Spa, however as it is undergoing a major refurbishment, it is closed until 2013. Your next best bet is to visit The Spa at Saratoga Springs. The offer great spa experiences such as stone massages, aromatherapy massages, Sea Plant Facial, and detoxifying body wraps. The only deterrent is the travel time from Poly to SS. If you are driving, the Spa is located near the Carriage House at the main entrance to SS. If relying on Disney transport, you would need to take a bus to Downtown Disney and take the boat launch or a bus over to SS. Keep in mind that with Disney buses, you would need to budget 45-60 minutes for travel time.
In order to make a reservation for the Spa at Saratoga, call (407) 827-4455 and the reservation specialist will help you select the perfect treatment for your mom.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
