We have an ADR at 1900 Park Fare at 8:10am on a day MK opens at 9, is it going to be possible to make it in time by the resort monorail? Are there any other transportation options? Thank you!

Hi Jolene! The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is a fun way to start the day before heading to the Magic Kingdom. While the Magic Kingdom is only a brief 5-minute monorail ride away from the Grand Floridian where 1900 Park Fare is located, I don't think you'll be able to enjoy breakfast and still arrive at the park before it opens.  Even though breakfast at 1900 Park Fare is a buffet, you'll still spend about an hour there since you'll want to have time to meet all the characters who'll stop by your table during your meal. After breakfast, you can take the boat or the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, but the monorail is the quickest option. It takes a few minutes to proceed through the bag check and the ticket portals once you arrive at the park, so I think the earliest you'll set foot inside the Magic Kingdom would be around 9:30 a.m.

Arriving at the Magic Kingdom before it opens allows you to watch the charming Opening Ceremony show, and being one of the first to enter the park ensures you can experience lots of attractions with little waiting that morning. If getting to the park at opening is important to you, you may want to consider changing your breakfast reservation to 8 a.m. at a character meal inside the park, like Crystal Palace. Alternatively, consider Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary where you can make a breakfast reservation as early as 7 a.m.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're always happy to help!
