Hi, Tricia! Yes, you are right. After allowing ample time for your meal without feeling rushed and transport back to the Magic Kingdom, the best viewing spots along Main Street U.S.A. will probably be taken. You might even be hard-pressed to get a good location before the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular begins. Let me suggest an out-of-the-box solution: Watch Wishes from the beach at the Polynesian.
Watching the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and the Electric Water Pageant from the shores of the Polynesian Resort is one of my family's traditions. After your meal at O'hana, grab a spot on the beach. Look for a spot right in front of Cinderella's Castle (across the Seven Seas Lagoon, of course). When the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular begins, the fireworks' soundtrack is piped in so that you can experience the total package. You can also enjoy the Electric Water Pageant, a quaint little floating parade that takes place on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Fourteen floats, accompanied by a great soundtrack, make their way to the Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness Campground, and the Contemporary Resort to be seen and loved by Guests. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
