We have an ADR at O'hana at 8:05 pm for dinner. Will we miss the fireworks that start at 10? Or will we be able to make it to the beach on time if we don't have a coveted window seat? We have never eaten here and don't know how long it will take. Thanks!!!

    Hi Jennifer,

We just had dinner at 'Ohana on our recent family trip. The boys still ask almost daily, when we can go back there again. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very family friendly and relaxing and the view is amazing.

You will most likely be finished with dinner that evening, before Wishes begins. Typically I allow for ninety minutes for our table service locations, which means if you are seated relatively close to your reservation time, you will have plenty of time to walk down to the beach to enjoy the show. 'Ohana is located upstairs in the back, second level of the main building of the Polynesian, but the beach area is just a short walk down the stairs and out the back doors. You should be able to travel from the restaurant to a viewing area in less than ten minutes. If you are finished, I would suggest moving down to the beach. In my opinion it offers the better view.

The other thought is, do not rush through your dinner. Take your time and enjoy the fun activities and delicious menu. Even if you are not able to sit right next to a window, the restaurant is surrounded by ceiling to floor windows. There are a number of tables throughout the restaurant where you would be able to have a great view of Wishes even if you are not directly at the window table. You are also free to get up and move around to enjoy the show.

Hope you have a wonderful time at dinner and on your trip!
