I have ADR next week but our party size has increased from 2 to 3. When I called to update my ADR, I was told that it wasn't possible to increase my party size. Is this really true? If I show up with an extra person, are they going to turn them away?

Hi Autumn! I've been in your exact situation several times. My first piece of advice for you is to NOT cancel your existing dining reservations. I always continue trying to make new ressies for the revised number of guests before leaving for vacation in case something opens up, but keep your reservation just in case.  Be sure to arrive at your dining location at least 15 minutes in advance of your reservation. Let the restaurant host know your situation and they'll do what they can. When we were there a few weeks ago, we were able to add people to several reservations, including the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant in the Hollywood Studios and Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom. We did need to wait a bit longer for a seat to open up, but that was no problem. It's my experience that the cast members will help as much as they can.

Write us back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation Autumn!
