We have ADR for Mickey's BBQ on Thanksgiving, the dinning plan states they are an accepted restaurant but my reservation states they do not accept it. I had to use a charge card when booking it but they never charged the card? Can you tell me which is cor

    Hi Leanne,

This is a great question! You are correct that Mickey's BBQ does accept the Disney Dining Plan. However, whenever you book this dining option or any of the dinner shows or character meals, Disney will ask for a credit card to hold the reservation. This guarantees your spot. It will only be charged if you do not show up for the reservation and not have cancelled it in advanced.

You can call Disney to confirm that your dining plan credits are being used but since you said the credit card was not charged, I feel confident that your dining credits will be used.

Remember to dress warm as it is outside but I love the idea for a fun Thanksgiving meal!
