I have a 7:30 adr for Le Cellier. Where is a good place to watch Illuminations and will I have time to find a good spot?

    Hi Jennifer,

Congratulations on the LeCellier reservations. That is one of the most popular Disney restaurants and one of our absolute favorites.

I typically plan for our table service meals to take around ninety minutes once we are seated. If you were seated at 7:30, you most likely would be finishing right around 9:00pm, the start time for Illuminations. There are great viewing areas all around the lagoon, and plenty of places to enjoy the show right outside the walkway to LeCellier. If you are traveling during a peak period, like the holidays, it will most likely be quite crowded when you exit dinner and it may be difficult to see the ground portion of the show. However during low and moderate crowds, you should still be able to walk outside the restaraunt and find a spot near the front. The show is quite large and includes portions on the ground and in the air. Even without a "front row" seat you will be able to enjoy Illuminations.

If you happen to finish a few minutes early and have time to walk before Illuminations starts, one of our favorite spots to watch is the bridge between England and France. This will be just a short walk to your right once you leave LeCellier, however it does tend to get a little crowded here. You can always check in a little early and attempt to be seated early, however given the popularity of LeCellier, this may be unlikely. Hope you have a fantastic dinner and finish in time to find your perfect spot.
