Hello Karen,
Call me a Disney Parks Moms Panelist but I love figuring out who? what? where? when? and how? when it comes to strategically planning a Walt Disney World vacation.
Taking into consideration, the location of the restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, dining time, walking time to the bus depot (because ultimately this is your best means of transportation), travel and wait time for the Disney bus to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground (approximately 30-minutes, give or take about 10-minutes), purchasing S'mores kits from the Chuckwagon Snack Bar (unless you bring your own, which you can) for
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long and finally sitting down around 7:00 p.m. (be sure to check the times because they are subject to change) to enjoy the family time, I think you will just make it as long as the cards align perfectly. To give yourself a little more time, consider checking in a little early at your Advance Dining Reservation and let them know of your scenario and with a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust they may be able to accommodate your request. Or consider dining at Trail's End located at Disney's For Wilderness Resort & Campground or at or around one of the Walt Disney World Resort monorail restaurants and take a boat ride to your destination after dining.
To return to Disney's All-Star Movie Resort you have a couple of options; board a bus to one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and transfer to your home resorts bus, or take a boat ride to Magic Kingdom park and board your home resort bus. Another option is to take a taxi, all Walt Disney World Resorts have taxis readily available to whisk you away at the front of their resorts.
If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
