ADR day is soon. My son is 10 so 1st time as adult on DDlxDP. He still eats only kid foods. I know we'll be ok at buffets & that a lot of restaurants will let him order from kids menu, but are there any that won't & that we should avoid?

    Hi Lynn!

I remember our first visit to Walt Disney World after my daughter turned 10. It was surreal to me that she was considered an adult at Walt Disney World! She is super picky and much prefers the simple foods available on the children's menu. While guests over 10 cannot order off of the children's menu, you can ask your server at each restaurant if your child can have an adult serving of an item that is on the children's menu. Some of the restaurants are able to accommodate. You will be charged the adult meal price, but they can usually work with you on the food selection.

We love the all-you-care-to-eat dining locations because it allows for everyone to get exactly what they want and I don't have to worry about my daughter not eating what's on the menu. Other great choices are Beaches & Cream, as their adult menu also offers burgers & fries, Mama Melrose, because you can order a flatbread pizza and Via Napoli

    Magically,
    Stacy
