We have a ADR @ Crystal Palace @ 8am and my wife and I have to get our boys to the marina @ the GF for the Pirate cruise @930....I will take the advice of arriving early @ the CP n asking 4 the bill @ the begining the meal, how do we get to GF fast?.

You should be at the restaurant podium 10-15 before 8:00 to check in, but you're probably not going to get seated before 8:00 because that is normally the opening time for this restaurant. Since it is a buffet, you won't have to wait for your food to be cooked. That's a big time saver. Your only potential hold-up in the restaurant is whether all the characters have made it around to your table by the time you're done eating. I don't think you'll have a problem first thing in the morning. However, if for some reason Piglet (for example) has not yet come to your table by about 8:40 and Piglet is a must-see for your son, then just speak to one of the character handlers in the restaurant. The character handlers are usually wearing a yellow vest and wearing some sort of microphone headset. Explain your situation and they will almost always allow you to bypass the regular table rotation order, get your photo, and be on your way.

There are only two ways to get from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian, water launch (boat) and the monorail. When you exit the park, take a glance over at the dock (scope this out on your way into the park so you know where to look). If you see a boat there or just about to arrive there, then that's the way to go. Otherwise, head up to the monorail station. The monorail will stop at the Contemporary, Ticket and Transportation Center, the Polynesian, and then the Grand Floridian -- about 10 minutes in all.

Sound like you have a great day planned. Have fun!
