I have ADR for CRT at 8:30 on a day when MK opens at 9. Are the photopass people there that early to take pictures as we enter the park? I've heard that it's awesome to get a picture in front of the castle without the crowd behind you. Thanks so much!!

A pre-opening visit to Cinderella's Royal Table is one of my favorite ways to start the day at Walt Disney World. And you are absolutely correct that this a magical time to take some memorable photos. I have done this myself on several occasions and have been able to get pictures of my family in front of the castle without other guests in the background.

Generally there are PhotoPass photographers in the Magic Kingdom as early as 8:00 a.m., even when the park does not officially open until 9:00. However, even if the photographers were not there, you would be welcome to have any cast member take a picture of you with your camera. Just ask and they'll be happy to take several shots.

Even though your reservation is not until 8:30, if you have the goal of taking photos, I would try very hard to be at the park and enter the park by about 8:00. The earlier you go, the fewer other guests will be in the park and the more success you will have in getting photos with an uncluttered background.

    Good luck!
