If I get an ADR for CP at 8am will I have enough time to eat and then make it to the opening ceremony in the MK; park opens at 9am? Or should I make a later ADR at CP? Or would it be better to get an ADR for 7:30 at O'hana's? Thanks for your advice.

    Kathleen,

The problem with your plan is that when you dine at Crystal Palace you are in the park. But much of the "rope drop" entertainment at the Magic Kingdom happens outside the park, at the foot of the train station on the side with the floral Mickey ears.

While that it technically post-turnstile and "in" the park, you are still having to "exit" the park, by leaving the area that is still blocked from entry to others without a dining reservation. I can't say that I have ever tried, but I would suggest that you are better served getting that 7:30 reservation at 'Ohana, and then coming over for the entertainment. Certainly the alternative of waiting until after 9 for breakfast seems kind of late, and it would be hard to start breakfast as you see crowds teeming by you to get to the attractions.

    I hope that this helps!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
