Hi, I have an ADR for the Coral Reef Restaurant. Where's the best place to sit and can I request it?

The "best" place for anything will always vary depending on who you are asking. The Coral Reef has several levels of seating (like in a stadium). Some folks might prefer to be up close to the action, right next to the tank. Others might prefer to be a bit further away to get a view of the bigger picture.

When my family goes to the Coral Reef, we love being near the tank. You can get a really up-close-and-personal experience with the sea life here --almost as if you were dining in the ocean.

There is no way to request a particular table in advance. When you arrive at the restaurant podium to check in, you can certainly ask if there are any tables available near the aquarium. If there is one available, you will be seated there. If not, you can either take whatever table they have or ask if it's possible to wait.

For all WDW restaurants, bear in mind that if you request a particular seating area, your wait for a particular table could be significantly longer than taking the next available, or it may not be possible to wait at all because of the configurations of parties that are coming after you.

I don't think there are any really bad seats at the Coral Reef at all, so I'm sure you'll be fine wherever to are seated.
