    ADR for Chef Mickey's on the night we arrive at 9:20pm(will be driving), timing will be tight! We are staying at Art of Animation. Can we go directly to the Contemporary and park there for our meal without paying for parking and then check in afterwards?

    Hey Judye!  Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel!  Your plan for your arrival day is definitely what I would recommend if timing will be tight.  I have parked at the Disney Resort in which I was having dinner on many occasions both when staying on and off property.  You will want to tell the cast member working at the gate that you have an Advanced Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's. You will be allowed to park in the parking lot at Disney's Contemporary Resort free of charge. Chef Mickey's is one of my family's favorite Character Dining Experiences and my children love the all-you-care-to-eat sundae bar. I got a firsthand look at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in April and you are going to love staying at Disney's newest Resort!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions that we can assist you with.  Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Judye!
