We have ADR at Cape May Cafe at 9:55am. We are headed to HS for the day where my 9 DS is really looking forward to Jedi Training. Staying at POR. Can I go to bfast and hold our spot while DH signs him up at the park?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Genevieve! Congratulations on your Walt Disney World vacation! It sounds like you have a magical day planned while visiting the "Happiest Place on Earth!" Disney's Hollywood Studios traditionally opens at 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on mornings that Extra Magic Hours are available. Follow this link to view the Park Hours for your specific date of interest. Guests may begin signing up for Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy immediately after park opening. Personally, I would recommend that all of you arrive at DIsney's Hollywood Studios at least 15 minutes prior to park opening and head straight to the sign-up area once guests are allowed into the park. Be sure to pick up a times guide when entering the park to find out where the sign-up area will be located during your visit. My boys have participated in the Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy in the past and it took no longer than 10 minutes to get them signed up. From Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can take the Friendship Ferry to DIsney's Beach Club Resort for your breakfast at Cape May Cafe.  I have been able to check-in for our Advanced Dining Reservations in the past without my family being there; however, most restaurants have not seated our group until the entire party was present. If you see that the line for Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy is taking longer than you had anticipated, you could then go ahead and check your group in for your Advanced DIning Reservation. I would definitely do the same if it were me. I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Genevieve!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
