We have a 5:40 ADR @ California Grill on 11/14. Wishes is @ 8 this particular evening. Our DD will be 3. Any suggestions on how to pass the time between dinner and Wishes? Can we leave the resaurantt and come back to view Wishes from the balcony? Thanks

Hi Kristal! The last time I dined at the California Grill, the service was quite leisurely, so you may not actually have a lot of time to pass between dinner and the fireworks. (My meal there lasted well over two hours. I know a long meal may not be ideal with a three-year-old, so be sure to tell your server up front if you want your meal to be served more quickly.)

If you do finish dinner before Wishes, you can come back later to view the fireworks from balcony. Just show your receipt at the California Grill check-in desk. The Contemporary Resort has lots of cute shops that you and your little daughter may enjoy browsing. Or you could hop on the monorail and ride the loop -- my kids and I love doing that! You could get off at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian to explore those resorts, if you want, or just enjoy the ride.

Hope you have a wonderful time at the California Grill!
