I have ADR at California Grill Sept. 13 at 930pm. Will we not be rushed to finish dinner? What time does the restaurant close? Also this day is Halloween extra hours so fireworks is different. What time is fireworks this day?

Hi there, Emmanuel! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for reaching out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a wonderful Signature dining location that offers upscale, Californian cuisine! It’s the perfect place to end a day of magic at Walt Disney World Resort! On September 13th, it looks as though California Grill will be open until 10:00 pm.

Even though they will be closing 30 minutes after your Advanced Dining Reservation time, you should not feel rushed at any point during your dinner. This is one of my favorite parts of dining at California Grill. This dining location strives to provide each Guest with a unique, leisurely meal that is free from the feeling of being rushed!

Historically, the fireworks spectacular during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place at 10:15 pm. This may be different in 2019 but, if it does not change, you will have the perfect reservation time to enjoy the show from the California Grill’s observation deck! This will certainly be a spooky fireworks show you do not want to miss either! I would recommend checking the Park Hours page for an exact time for the fireworks show closer to your arrival date.

I hope you and your family have a fabulous time dining at California Grill! Please let us know if you have any other Walt Disney World Resort questions that we can assist you with!
