Another ? We have ADR for Boma for breakfast at 8:00ish. I then made ADR for Saana for around 12:30. Do you recommend leaving the park for lunch and then go back or just dine in the park? What is the travel time to/from AKL? Thanks again.

Hi Jenn! You're planning my kind of Disney day -- I love dining at the table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World! Boma is a great spot for breakfast -- there are lots of tasty and unique items on the buffet, and the restaurant is not too far from the Animal Kingdom park. Sanaa also has lots of unique options on its menu, but personally, I think you'd make better use of your time if you made a reservation at a restaurant inside Animal Kingdom. The bus ride from the Animal Kingdom to the Animal Kingdom Lodge where Sanaa and Boma are located is fairly short, about 15 minutes, but you may have to wait another 15 minutes for the bus to arrive. Also, Animal Kingdom is a fairly large park, so it could take 15 minutes or more for you to walk out of the park to head to the bus stops.  Thus, you could easily spend an hour to ninety minutes just traveling to and from your lunch at Sanaa, in addition to the hour or so you'll spend eating. If you want to have plenty of time to experience the Animal Kingdom, which often closes by early evening, you'd probably want to have lunch in the park and save Sanaa for dinner after you're done touring. My family really enjoys the Yak & Yeti restaurant in Animal Kingdom, and the lunch buffet at Tusker House has lots of unique and delicious foods too.
