How can we adjust our dining reservation for one family member who now no longer is able to come?

Ruth, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to... planDisney! In the words of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, I'm so glad to have you, "be our guest!"

Ruth, dining around the Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite topics of conversation. From snacks like my favorite blue milk found in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to luxurious signature dining restaurants like California Grill, there is something for every taste bud and budget!

Now, Ruth, while I love to plan how, when, and where I'm going to eat, I also know that plans sometimes change so let's talk about adjusting your reservation. Since your reservation is only changing by one guest, you have a few options. First, you can adjust the number when you check in for your table on the day of the reservation. Many restaurants offer Mobile Dine Check-In right from your My Disney Experience Mobile App. When you confirm that you have arrived, you'll be prompted to confirm the number of guests. On that screen, simply decrease your count at that time. You can also adjust your reservation in advance by visiting the "My Plans" section of your My Disney Experience account or mobile app. When you click on your reservation, you'll see the option to "modify."

Ruth, I hope this helps as you're looking ahead to summer at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you're a thrill seeker, don't miss the newest attraction at Magic Kingdom Park: TRON Lightcycle / Run

Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions and have a Magical visit!

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Pennsylvania

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
